Important Reminders for a Smooth Season:

• Uniforms: All players need to purchase black pants, red socks, and red belts. These can be found at First Team on Wade Hampton. And as a bonus, there’s a 15% league discount—check out the attached flyer for more details!
• Equipment needed USA Baseball stamped Bat, glove, and batting helmet. Cleats are preferred but not required.
• Practice Schedules: We’ve posted all practice schedules on the WHLL Generals website.
• GameChanger App: We will be using the free version of the GameChanger app to keep you updated. After logging in, click the + in the upper right corner, select “Import Sports Connect” and everything will appear on your Home Screen!
• Text Updates: To get daily updates on game and practice schedules, as well as who’s running the concession stand, make sure your contact info is up-to-date in Sports Connect. We’ll send a text at 2 PM daily, and in case of any weather changes, we’ll follow up with updates ASAP.
• County Park Alerts: Sign up for Park Closure updates directly from the county at Greenville Parks & Rec Alerts.

Key Dates to Mark on Your Calendar:

• Monday, February 10: Fields open for practice! Coaches will be reaching out with schedules to get you ready for the season.
• Saturday, March 8, 8 AM - 2 PM: Opening Day – Join us for a fun-filled kick-off event at Butler Springs. Local businesses can showcase their services at our Midway. Want to be a part of it? Sign up here! Please reach out if you are willing to help or have ideas. 
• Week of March 23 (TBD): Regular Season Begins – Get ready for a thrilling season of games across all teams! We will update games as soon as we receive them from the district.
• Before May 29 (TBC): Regular Season Ends – We aim to wrap up before the end of May.
